Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and Convent, Astoria, NY

Here's what appears to be the former school for Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Astoria:

The news clipping I'm using notes that there was both a school and convent designed by William Boegel, and puts it in Long Island City. Despite the geographic differences between Long Island City and Astoria, this seems to be the school building from the newspaper clipping. The large white rectangle on the upper part of the building obscures the top of the cross that was a prominent feature of the original design.

The convent does not appear to be in existence anymore, although the quality of the news clipping makes it difficult to compare the convent against other buildings nearby the school.

The school is now the home of the Young Women's Leadership School of Astoria, a school for 6th-12th grade girls run by the NYC Department of Education.

St. Agnes School, Greenport, NY

Again it's hard to get a good view of this school. The news clipping mentioned that the new building, built adjacent to the existing parish hall, had "four modern classrooms, with provisions made in the original structure for four additional classrooms as needed, a principal's office, teachers' room and a medical room."

The pastor sought $75,000 to help defray construction costs.

This church was completed circa 1965:

There is also a nearby convent, but I cannot get a Google Street View image of the building that I suspect is the convent.

St. Patrick's School, Fort Hamilton

The news clipping I have says that this was a school addition and a rectory:

The news clipping mentioned that they worked to raise $500,000 for this building.

This is the first of three buildings in Flushing -- St. Kevin's Church:

The Google Street view doesn't really give it justice, but I could find no other good images online.
